ABOUT THE AUTHOR | Tricia Rumbles

Tricia Rumbles became a Nana in 2017. She was inspired by this new “little birdie” in the family to imagine a character that would become the namesake of her granddaughter - Ena Bird: an adorable little owl who is just as spunky and curious as the girl she was named for.

Tricia has always been captivated by creativity and design, from music to photography to creative arts. After becoming an empty-nester, she decided to combine her creative interests (and learn MANY more) to write and illustrate entertaining and purpose driven children’s books that her grandchildren could enjoy. More Ena Bird books are in the works.

Tricia is married, has two grown children, and now has two grandchildren. She grew up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta and has lived in Thorsby, Alberta for over 20 years with her family.
